CONTACT USPlaNet Finance Israel is the Israeli branch of PlaNet Finance NGO, an international non-profit organization with the mission to alleviate poverty through the development of microfinance.
PlaNet Finance's mission is to help poor people develop income generating activities, in order to sustainably improve their living conditions. PlaNet Finance has a worldwide Network of 110 experts and is active in more than 80 countries. It offers advisory services and technical assistance to microfinance actors so as to improve their financial and social performance as well as supporting microentrepreneurs in their endeavours.
PlaNet Finance also contributes to the improvement of knowledge and spreading of good practices in microfinance.
In January 2007, PlaNet Finance created PlaNet Finance Israel, a platform and microfinance facilitator, with the mission to support the development of microfinance as a tool to tackle poverty, foster economic growth and support self-empowerment. Through the development of microfinance and micro-entrepreneurship in Israel among populations living in precariousness who have no or limited access to the banking system, PlaNet Finance Israel seeks to offer sustainable solutions that can create a significant social-economic impact throughout Israeli society.
In order to support our vision of a world without poverty, PlaNet Finance Israel seeks to develop the sector of microfinance, therefore increasing the unbanked and underbanked’s access to financial services.
